Happy Weekend!

globes2014noms

It has been such a busy and freezing week! The temperatures were below 10 degrees in Philadelphia since Monday and thank goodness for such a beautiful weekend to make up it. This week I was able to attend a tasting of the new Yard’s Seasonal Beer, Rye and attend the premiere party of the new LUSH Spa last night (posts coming soon!). All weekend I plan on hitting the gym (possibly shopping this sale) and I’m going to see the Philadelphia Orchestra perform tomorrow evening as well! Scored some amazing seats from the PECO Power Hour opportunity back in December, can’t beat orchestra pit tickets for only $10 a pop.

Also, glorious Red Carpet season starts on Sunday! Are you looking forward to the Golden Globes? Who do you want to win? Tell me! I am sure to be live tweeting during the whole affair, hopefully you can join me. AND the premiere of GIRLS is back ::fan girl scream:: I’ll be glued to my couch all evening. What are you up to this weekend?

Happy Weekend!

Mummers-Parade_-RKennedy_02-600

Happy Weekend! Though it was a super short week because of New Year’s (The best day in the whole world)! I’m back at work answering emails and planning out the first quarter of events and marketing ideas. In other news, Philadelphia got hit with some snow and its absolutely freezing outside. However, that isn’t going to stop the Eagles fans since we have a home play off game tomorrow night! Uwishunu posted a superb list about where to watch the game tomorrow evening, if you are daring enough to leave the house. Regardless, have a great weekend!

Happy Weekend!

It’s the weekend and my favorite person is back from Israel! Scott and I are having a Friday daytime date and we’re painting the town red by seeing The Wolf of Wall Street, Anchorman 2, going to PYT for lunch and possibly the River Rink at Penn’s Landing at night. So much to squeeze in before the end  of the holiday season in Philly, its going to be a little bit before the city becomes alive again in the early spring. Good thing, red carpet season is upon us, hence why I am kicking off the weekend with Leo and his brand new Golden Globe nominated Best Musical/Comedy, Best Actor movie.

This week was a busy one so I am looking forward to a weekend of relaxing and learning! I will be going to my first Banter & Beans workshop through Blog Bloom tomorrow at One Shot Coffee. I’m looking forward to networking and meeting a few new bloggers in the Philadelphia area. I hope that I will be able to take away a few good tips to maximize Style Wallflower and the new website that will be going up at work.

I may take a trip into Center City to get a Salted Caramel Budino Pop (oh my yum). Also, have you checked out the new Smak Parlour pop up shop in Rittenhouse? I went earlier this week and I think I may have to make a trip back (or two). Have a good weekend!

The First Weekend in August

Style Wallflower

The first weekend in August already? I feel like 2013 is flying by not only the summer. I guess its true that time flies when you are having fun and that can be an understatement for me and my friends at times. Regardless – happy weekend! I am looking forward to my first trip to Wilmington, DE tonight to see my old roommate in her new house! Kim has a great taste for home decor, so hopefully I can pick up a trick or two. Saturday is unplanned but there is a free concert in Northern Liberties at The Piazza. Sunday is family day, a quick trip to the burbs to celebrate Scott’s older brother’s birthday. What are you doing this weekend?
